Terms of Service
Effective 14 August 2026 · Last updated 14 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and TikTok2Go governing your access to and use of the TikTok2Go website, applications, short links, creator tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) available at tiktok2go.com and any successor domains.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, uploading content, generating a short link, clicking a TikTok2Go link, placing an order, or otherwise using any part of TikTok2Go, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, restaurant, brand, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.
2. Who we are — and who we are not
TikTok2Go is an independent product operated by TikTok2Go, based in Alberta, Canada. We provide a discovery and ordering layer in front of local fulfilment partners, currently Community Cart, so that a person who sees a creator’s short-form video can order the exact same dish or multi-item meal.
TikTok2Go is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to TikTok Inc., TikTok Pte. Ltd., ByteDance Ltd., or any of their affiliates. “TikTok” is a trademark of its respective owners. We do not use official TikTok logos or brand assets in the Service. References to TikTok exist only to describe how you may share links on that platform and how we may connect to official TikTok developer products after you authorize them.
We are also not a restaurant, not a courier company, and not the merchant of record for food. Restaurants prepare food. Community Cart (or another fulfilment partner we identify at checkout) handles local delivery. We pass the exact ticket and attribution data to that partner.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use creator tools.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your province) to place a paid order.
- You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of Alberta, Canada.
- The Service currently focuses on Edmonton and other communities in Alberta. We may refuse or limit service outside our delivery coverage.
- If you are a creator using TikTok Login or posting tools, you must also comply with TikTok’s own terms, community guidelines, and any developer-product authorizations you grant.
4. Accounts and security
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and tell us promptly at support@tiktok2go.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may offer “Login with TikTok” through TikTok’s official Login Kit. If you choose that option, TikTok authenticates you and, with your consent, shares limited profile information with us as described in the Privacy Policy. We never receive your TikTok password.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, or that create safety, legal, or operational risk.
5. The Service
5.1 What TikTok2Go does
The Service lets you:
- Creators: upload a vertical video of a dish or full meal; describe the restaurant, items, quantities, notes, and optional photos; generate an optimized caption, hashtags, and a unique trackable short link in the form
tiktok2go.com/r/[slug]; copy that package and post it on TikTok or other platforms. - Consumers: browse a location-aware feed; open a dish or full-meal page with the video as hero; tap to order the exact combination the creator specified, including sides, signature drinks, and special instructions.
- Restaurants / admins: moderate listings before they go live, and receive exact tickets via our fulfilment partner.
5.2 Short links
Every approved listing can receive a brandable short link we control (for example, tiktok2go.com/r/xxxx). When someone opens that link we may record a click, show the exact-order page, and attribute the creator. You may not wrap, cloak, or replace our short links with redirects that hide destination, attribution, or pricing.
5.3 Captions and hashtags
Generated captions and hashtags are suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing them before you post anywhere, including TikTok. We do not guarantee virality, reach, or that a caption complies with another platform’s rules.
5.4 Exact orders
“Order this exact dish/meal” means we send the itemized ticket — names, quantities, notes, and signature items — to the restaurant and fulfilment partner. Consumers may deselect extras at checkout. We do not guarantee the kitchen can honour every note, that items will be identical to the video, or that a restaurant is still serving that combination.
5.5 Beta / MVP nature
The Service is an early product. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. Demo or sandbox modes may use sample data and are not production orders.
6. Creator terms
If you submit listings or videos, you represent and warrant that:
- You created the video or have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to upload it and to grant us the license in Section 8.
- The video and listing accurately describe a real dish or meal available from the named restaurant, including prices you enter.
- You will not upload content you do not own, content that infringes someone else’s rights, or content that impersonates a restaurant or another creator.
- You will not include official TikTok logos, watermarks you do not have the right to use, or anyone’s personal information without consent.
- Food content will not be misleading about allergens, ingredients, or pricing in a way that could reasonably harm a diner.
- You understand listings may be held in a moderation queue and may be approved, rejected, or later removed.
You keep ownership of your videos and listing copy. By uploading, you grant TikTok2Go a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt (for example, compress video, generate posters, crop for 9:16), display, and distribute that content on the Service and in promotional materials about TikTok2Go, and to share the itemized order with restaurants and fulfilment partners so an order can be completed.
If you later post the same video on TikTok, TikTok’s terms govern that post. Our license to the copy hosted on TikTok2Go continues for as long as the listing remains on the Service and for a reasonable archival period after removal (for example, to handle disputes or chargebacks).
7. TikTok platform and official APIs
You may share TikTok2Go short links on TikTok. Separately, we may offer integrations that use official TikTok developer products only, including without limitation:
- Login Kit — sign in with your TikTok account;
- Display / research-style video APIs — show your authorized TikTok videos or public metadata you permit us to display;
- Content Posting API or Share Kit — help you publish or draft a post that includes your TikTok2Go caption, hashtags, and short link, only after you explicitly authorize it.
We do not scrape TikTok, automate unofficial clients, collect TikTok passwords, or use unofficial logos. Any TikTok data we receive is used only to operate the feature you turned on (identity, displaying your video, or helping you post your own content), as described in the Privacy Policy.
You can revoke TikTok access at any time in your TikTok account settings and by contacting us. Revoking access does not delete listings, videos, or orders already stored on TikTok2Go; use the Privacy Policy rights process for that.
TikTok may change, rate-limit, or revoke API access. We are not liable for TikTok outages, policy changes, or account actions TikTok takes against your TikTok profile.
8. Orders, prices, and fulfilment
- Prices on listings are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise and may exclude tax, delivery, or tips until checkout.
- When you place an order you offer to buy those items from the restaurant. Acceptance happens when the restaurant or fulfilment partner confirms.
- Delivery, refunds, late orders, missing items, and food safety issues are handled by the restaurant and Community Cart under their terms. We will help route the complaint and share the original exact ticket.
- We may share your name, dropoff address, phone or email if collected, order notes, and attribution (creator handle and short link) with the restaurant and fulfilment partner. That is required to deliver the order.
- Promo codes, zero delivery fees, or waived tax in a demo environment are not a promise of production pricing.
9. Acceptable use
You will not:
- Break the law, including food-safety misrepresentation, fraud, or unauthorized access.
- Upload malware, scrape the Service with bots except polite public indexing, or overload our systems.
- Reverse engineer the Service except where a statute gives you that right and you have first asked us for an interface.
- Post sexual content involving minors, hate content, or content we reasonably consider exploitative.
- Use official TikTok trademarks, the TikTok logo, or confusingly similar branding in a way that suggests TikTok operates or endorses TikTok2Go.
- Farm clicks, generate fake orders, manipulate short-link analytics, or attribute orders to a creator who did not create the listing.
- Resell the Service or use it to build a competing scrape of our listings without permission.
- Attempt to obtain TikTok user data beyond what the user authorized through official TikTok APIs.
10. Moderation
Listings may be reviewed before they go live. We can refuse, remove, or geo-limit any listing, video, caption, or account at our discretion, including for quality, safety, restaurant complaint, legal risk, or brand risk. Removal does not entitle you to compensation.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service — including the TikTok2Go name, crown wordmark, design system, software, and short-link system — is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy our branding or frame the Service without consent.
12. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on TikTok2Go infringes your copyright, email legal@tiktok2go.com with: (a) your contact information; (b) a description of the work; (c) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove content and, for repeat infringers, terminate accounts.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that a restaurant will accept an order, that food will match the video, that short links will remain available, that captions will perform, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Alberta or Canadian consumer-protection law.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIKTOK2GO AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) CAD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM — NOT INCLUDING AMOUNTS PAID TO RESTAURANTS OR COMMUNITY CART FOR FOOD AND DELIVERY.
Food-borne illness, delivery accidents, and kitchen errors are the responsibility of the restaurant and fulfilment partner, not TikTok2Go, except to the extent a court finds we were independently negligent in transmitting the ticket.
15. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless TikTok2Go from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of: your content; your listings or captions; your misuse of the Service; your posts on TikTok or other platforms; your violation of these Terms or of law; or your infringement of someone else’s rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access immediately for breach, legal risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including 8, 11–15, 17–19) survive termination.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect — including information received from official TikTok APIs — how we use it, and your rights. It is incorporated into these Terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue is the courts sitting in Edmonton, Alberta, unless a mandatory consumer statute gives you the right to sue where you live.
Before filing a claim, you agree to email legal@tiktok2go.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days.
19. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required, notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. General
- If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- These Terms are the entire agreement about the Service and supersede prior terms for the Service.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in a merger or sale.
- No waiver is implied by a delay in enforcement.
- There are no third-party beneficiaries except as required for indemnified parties.
